For more than three decades, Operation HELP has been a trusted frontline resource for families facing temporary financial hardship. Here's what that looked like in 2025.
Helping neighbors stay on solid ground
The mission of Operation HELP is to help residents of St. Croix County and adjacent communities maintain stable living situations, food security, emotional well-being, and personal dignity when they experience temporary financial hardships.
In 2024, Operation HELP relocated to its expanded Hanley Road facility in Hudson to better meet rapidly growing community needs. In 2025, the organization further strengthened its impact through a merger with Fresh Harvest Pantry and the Hudson Backpack food programs, bringing financial assistance, food security, and essential household support together under one coordinated hub. Today, Operation HELP is responding to a sustained surge in demand for rent and utility help, food shelf access, diapers, vouchers, and basic necessities as more working families across the county struggle to stay stable in an increasingly challenging economy.
During 2025, 142 volunteers provided more than 10,250 hours of service in roles ranging from board governance to direct client service and dozens of functions in between.
